Spooky Halloween Travel Destinations You Need To Visit This Halloween

We at Detonate are getting into the Halloween spirit and we’ve cooked up a few scary destinations that you can visit this Halloween. Be forewarned, you might just soil yourself at these frightening locations!

The go-to scariest place in America is Salem, Massachusetts, where in the 17th century the town saw the religious fiasco that today we call the Salem Witch Trials. Between the fair, the Witches’ Halloween Ball and more, you definitely won’t run out of things to do when in Salem. Good luck, though, you’ll need it.

Bran castle in Romania is the former home of Vlad the Impaler, an aristocrat who loved to impale his enemies on stakes. That was about 600 years ago, though, and since then the town has become a beautiful tourist destination. The prudent tourist will still bring some garlic with them.

In New York City, in the Greenwich Village neighborhood, you’ll find lots to do on Halloween. You might even see Edgar Allen Poe’s ghost roaming around, and if you do, you’ll probably pee your pants evermore.
